Our Building
The School of Nursing is located on the University's East Baltimore campus, in the Anne M. Pinkard Building. Situated in the heart of Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions campus, the building opened in 1998 and is the first structure at Hopkins dedicated solely to nursing education and research. The facility was named Outstanding Building by American School & University.

Tomorrow’s Vision
Though the Anne M. Pinkard building opened just ten years ago, the School has quickly outgrown this award-winning structure. Student enrollments have nearly doubled since 1998 and faculty and staff numbers have increased as well. In response, the School of Nursing is planning an ambitious expansion of the school facilities over the next five years.
Plans are underway for an 8-story building addition that will connect to the current building. This addition will double the existing space for classrooms, labs and offices and provide a light-filled, congenial environment for students and faculty to forge connections with colleagues from across the Johns Hopkins University and Medical Institutions.
This new building is essential to ensure the successful continued expansion of the School of Nursing into the future.
