The School of Nursing is located in the Anne M. Pinkard Building, which was named Outstanding Building by the magazine American School & University.

In the spring of 1998, the building became the first structure at Hopkins dedicated solely to nursing education and research.

The newly built, state-of-the-art education and research facility is situated in the heart of Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions campus.

The building contains expanded classroom space, computer facilities, practice laboratories, research laboratories, student lounges, an auditorium, a café and an outdoor courtyard.

- three 12-bed practice laboratories (one w/ capability for distance learning)
- research space with behavioral and state-of-the-art laboratories
- three 16-seat computer/interactive video labs
