BUILDING TOUR: COMPUTER LABS

row of computersThe third floor is where students learn computer skills relevant to nursing. Besides a large computer classroom, there are two smaller computer labs where students can work on papers or access the Internet.

Students are taught in a new state-of-the-art computer classroom and are instructed on the use of the computer and a variety of software applications.

The lab computers are networked together and have access to the Internet, e-mail, and various applications including Microsoft Office 2000 Professional suite, SPSS and Lexi-Comps Clinical Reference Library.

Doctoral Labs

A separate room is available on the third floor for sole use by the School's doctoral students. With two spacious work stations (including computers), and numerous wired cubicles, our PhD students can have the quiet and privacy they need to work on their dissertations, research and other studies.

The doctoral workroom and Nursing Information Resource Center have been equipped with a wireless network for use with notebook computers.
