Health Systems Management / Clinical Specialist Dual Track

Today's nurses-perhaps more than other health care professionals-occupy a unique and pivotal position in the constantly evolving environment of health care management and delivery.

Students planning careers in nursing and health care management have a variety of programs from which to choose. The dual Health Systems Management/Clinical Specialist prepares the graduate to manage the entire spectrum of patient care: design, change management, implementation and evaluation. Managers and consultants work in a variety of settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, primary care health centers, ambulatory centers, rehabilitation facilities, integrated health systems and networks of managed care.
