Public Health Nursing

This area of concentration incorporates concepts from nursing, public health and health policy to study the design, delivery and evaluation of nursing services to aggregates including families, schools, communities and states. Practicum experiences are individualized and designed to challenge students to be innovative and work with multidisciplinary teams. Graduates have met educational requirements for clinical nurse specialist certification.

The application and all supporting documentation must be received by the deadlines listed above. However to be given consideration for a Merit Scholarship Award, you must be accepted for admission by March 1. Please note that on average it takes the Admissions Committee approximately one month to reach a decision upon receipt of a completed application.
