NR110.422	Breastfeeding: Practice and Research
Description: The focus of this course will be on the practice of breastfeeding in relation to culture, the evidence base for practice, the clinical techniques used to support successful breastfeeding, and the role of the nurse in the breastfeeding process. Strategies to encourage the initiation and duration of breastfeeding will be presented along with a critique of extant practices.
