2003 Nell J. Watts Lifetime Achievement in Nursing Award
Martha N. Hill, RN, Ph.D., FAAN, was presented the 2003 Nell J. Watts Lifetime Achievement in Nursing Award from Sigma Theta Tau International, the Honor Society of Nursing. Hill is the Dean of The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and has devoted much of her career to advocating for equal treatment in health care delivery among all races, incomes, ages and genders. The Lifetime Achievement in Nursing Award is presented biennially to a society member who has demonstrated exemplary achievements in nursing throughout his or her lifetime.
