Teams of Hopkins-affiliated nurses have been traveling to Haiti to provide medical assistance since the January 12 eartquake there in January. Read their accounts of their experiences on the Hopkins Nursing Haiti blog.

In January, Dr. Beth Sloand, an assistant professor in the School of Nursing, traveled to Haiti as part of the multidisciplinary Hopkins Go Team, the Johns Hopkins version of a disaster relief team. She spent more than two weeks in Haiti, caring for patients at the University Hospital in Port-au-Prince and at a clinic in nearby Gressier.
