AACN visits JHUSON - July 27, 2004

In July the School of Nursing hosted a site visit from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. Debbie Campbell, AACN director of Government Affairs, and Robert Rosseter, AACN director of Public Affairs, joined JHU Government Affairs staff members Maggy Huson and Mary Gardner to learn more about the School of Nursing and its programs, faculty, and students. They met with Alison Steinkamp, SON director of Strategic Initiatives and SON Communications staff members Lynn Writsel and Ming Tai. The group toured the SON building, the Wald Clinic on Rutland Avenue, and the Johns Hopkins Hospital and discussed collaboration between the AACN and JHUSON, including partnering around issues of patient safety.
