FRESH FACES

 

Margaret Denny serves as Assistant to Gayle Page at the Center For Nursing Research. Prior to coming to JHUSON, Ms. Denny worked for four years as an elementary school teacher and three years in office administration and management.

 

 

Mia Nichols works as Student Accounts Coordinator in the SON Business office. She comes to Hopkins from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she was an accounting associate.

 

A Fond Farewell

Matt Hagg, Interim Manager and Senior Associate Director of Development and Alumni Relations, will depart on January 15 to become the Director of Major Gifts for the University of Rochester (NY).  In a school-wide e-mail, Dean Martha N. Hill thanked Matt "not just for his dedication to the school and the past four years of exemplary effort, but also for bringing to our School his unique brand of community caring and compassion and for representing so well our School and our values. He will be missed, but we wish him all the best and know he will replicate his success here in his new ventures."

Farewell to Donzie Spears, Budget Analyst/Payroll Assistant, who left the SON in September.  Donzie has been a Johns Hopkins University employee for 15 years.

Veronica Washington (pictured left), administrative assistant in Academic Affairs, transferred to the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in October.
