RN Appointed to Faculty
Dr. Glass, an SON alumna who comes to us from Oregon Health &
Science University, is an expert researcher in the areas of public health,
health disparities, and intimate partner violence. |

Maryland Legislature Approves Funds for Building Addition
The SON
and the Phoebe R. Berman Bioethics Institute will share a $3 million
state-funded grant from the Maryland Independent Colleges and Universities
Association for the SON building addition.

Former SON Faculty Member Named to JHU Society of Scholars
Elaine
Larson, RN, PhD, FAAN, CIC, a nurse researcher and national leader in the
field of infection control, is the first nurse scholar named to the Society.
Johns Hopkins
Establishes Center for Global Health
The new JHU Center for Global Health will bridge the international work of
the JHU schools of nursing, public health, and medicine.
