The School maintains 93 PC's running Microsoft Windows and six laser printers for student use. These PC's are located in several locations throughout the building including: a 32-seat teaching lab, two 13-seat application labs, a 16-seat doctoral workroom, 9 study desks in the Nursing Information Resource Center, and 10 kiosk stations in the lower level hallway. Each PC can access the Internet, e-mail, and various applications including Microsoft Office 2007 Professional suite, and SPSS.

Students also have access to additional computer facilities operated by the Welch Library including the Public Access Computers on the Second floor of the main Welch library, and the Information Resource Center located in Room 116 of the Pre-Clinical Teaching Building (PCTB). The computers in the PCTB are available 24 hours a day, though staff support is not available at all times. Hours in PCTB are subject to change. Students may also use computer facilities on the Homewood campus. There is a large computer lab in Krieger Hall that is open 24 hrs/day, Monday through Friday, and also has expanded weekend hours.

Many classrooms and public areas of the school have been set up for wireless networking. These include: the auditorium, lecture halls, café, doctoral workroom, and Nursing Information Resource Center. Student notebook computers can be set up to use the wireless network to access on-campus resources and the Internet.

Distance Learning technologies have been deployed in several lecture halls.

Students are assigned an email account to be utilized for SON related activities. Students are responsible for checking messages on a regular basis. Faculty, staff and administration will use the email system regularly to communicate with students.
